  SNAS conducted the 10th episode of the Webinar Series on the topic "Defence Seaworthiness Management System on Australian Naval Ship through the Life Cycle" on 25th of November, 2021. The Webinar was taken by Mr. Sanu Rajanbabu, Quality Assurance Manager, Naval Construction Branch,  Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group, Australia. The interactive session dealt with the understanding and implementation of DSwMS. The session also included talks on functional performance specification, ship specification and other related topics. An elaborate QnA session was held after the presentation, clarifying the doubts of the audience on various insights shared during the webinar.   The Webinar was conducted in collaboration with DOSTAS, via an online virtual meeting application.                                                                              YouTube link

The Department of Ship Technology successfully conducted the International Conference on Advances in Naval and Ocean Engineering ( iCANOE'21 ) as part of the golden jubilee celebrations of CUSAT. The ClassNK Best Project Awards were also distributed in the ceremony.
